This spot no longer exists, taken by a mud slide. I love this picture. I drove from Monterey to Cayucos just before Hwy 1 was destroyed last winter.
I am looking forward to the JCCS this week. It is one place where I am the Sunchaser guy, not the lawyer. I like car people better than lawyers.
I chose a profession of conflict, and I should not complain about the cost when I enjoy the rewards, but god damn, it gets old being the villian after a while. I am tired of this fight; it is going to get worse before it gets better. Best case legally is the Supremes agree to hear my case. This is also the worst case, because the issues are framed in a way that makes me look awful, and US Supreme Court review guarantees unpleasant attention.
I just want to drive my car.

I know this is old but I still find it fascinating. Old guy writes self serving law that makes no sense, UAW uses it to force things that no one wants? Slightly slimy Agricultural owner has the balls to fight it.
